Charming 18th-century family house. Comfortable and spacious bedroom. Delicious homecooked French meals. Friendly and knowledgeable hostess. Shared experiences at the dinner table. Informative local sightseeing recommendations. Passionate promotion of local produce. Dog-friendly with large exercise area
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

Situated in a tranquil location along the riverbank, this 275, year, old family house is rustic and charming. the room is spacious and comfortable, but the bathroom is shared and not as modern as expected. the hostess is friendly and happy to share her knowledge of the local area, and the home, cooked meals with fresh local produce are a highlight. the large area down by the river is perfect for exercising the dog or taking a refreshing swim.
The facilities are limited, and there is no Wi, Fi available, which may be an issue for some guests who need to stay connected.

We loved the charming and traditional vibe of this family house, which is over 275 years old. The home-cooked meals were a highlight, featuring fresh and tasty local ingredients. We particularly enjoyed talking with the friendly host about the region's top sights and food specialties. The location down by the river provided ample space for our dog to exercise off the lead.
There was nothing we didn't like.

The atmosphere was cozy and charming, with a fire place in the dining room that added a touch of fairy tale magic. the homemade meals were delicious, using fresh and local ingredients. the host was very knowledgeable about the region, sharing tips for sightseeing and local food specialties. We enjoyed being treated as guests rather than clients and felt like we were part of the host's family.
It felt a bit like staying in a rural grocers shop, but that added to the unique and traditional feel of the place. the location was a bit out of the way, but was easy enough to find with GPS and provided a peaceful and quiet getaway from the city.

The rustic feel to the overall atmosphere and the home-style food were good qualities. We also appreciated the opportunity to explore the nearby area with our pet, given there was plenty of land to roam.
The accommodations felt outdated and in need of some updating. the interior design of the hotel could have been improved to create a more comfortable and welcoming environment.
